GRADUATION ATTIRE Students who participate in the graduation ceremony will dress formally: dresses, shirt/tie/slacks, dress shoes, etc. All graduates will wear the WeGo blue caps and gowns. Caps CANNOT be decorated. JEANS and FLIP-FLOPS MAY NOT BE WORN. Contact Vivi Cuautle, Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Principals at 630-876-6330 with questions. |
PROHIBITED ITEMS Northern Illinois University does NOT allow these items in the Convocation Center: ⇾Bags, backpacks, duffels ⇾Laser pointers ⇾Coolers, bottles, cans, containers, or projectiles ⇾Weapons, flammables, or other potentially dangerous items ⇾Aerosol containers, or any pressurized container ⇾Horns, noisemakers, or whistles ⇾Illegal substances ⇾Helium balloons, posters, banners, or signs on sticks ⇾Golf umbrellas, tripods, monopods, & selfie sticks ⇾Outside food & beverages (including Starbucks, Dunkin’, and other coffee brands). Please review NIU’s bag policy below. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the door. |

GRADUATION LOCATION Commencement will be held inside the Northern Illinois University Convocation Center at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 17th. The Convocation Center is located at 1525 W. Lincoln Hwy, DeKalb, IL 60115. Driving directions are available here.

PARKING AND ENTRANCE for STUDENTS Graduates must arrive at 4:30 PM for a brief practice. Use Door #2 and #4. Doors will open for parents and family members at 6:00 PM. *New! Graduate-only bus transportation available from WCCHS departing @3:30pm, Entrance B. First Come, First Served. The bus departs NIU @ 8:30pm if Graduates need a ride back to WCCHS.
HANDICAPPED PARKING AND SEATING Special tickets are not needed for handicapped seats. |

STREAMING and PHOTOGRAPHY For those who are unable to attend, graduation will be live streamed. Use this link. The link will not work until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 17th. Parents or family members will NOT be allowed on the main floor to take pictures or video. To order photos taken at the graduation ceremony, visit LifeTouch here. |
DIPLOMAS Students do not receive their diplomas at graduation. Diplomas will be mailed home. Academic questions regarding graduation can be directed to Keely Hanely-Anshel, the Division Head of Counseling at 630-876-6306. |

CÓDIGO DE VESTIR Los estudiantes que participan deberán usar atuendos formales: vestidos, camisa/corbata, pantalón y zapatos de vestir, etc. Todos los graduados usarán la toga y birrete azules de WeGo. Sus birretes NO PUEDEN ser decorados. MEZCLILLA y SANDALIAS NO SON PERMITIDAS. Comuníquense con Vivi Cuautle, Asistente Administrativa de los sub-directores al 630-876-6330 si tienen preguntas. |
ARTÍCULOS PROHIBIDOS La Universidad Northern Illinois NO permite los siguientes artículos en el Centro de Convocatorias: ⇾bolsas, mochilas de ningún tipo ⇾señaladores laser ⇾hieleras, botellas, latas, recipientes, proyectiles ⇾armas, inflamables, y ningún otro tipo de artículos con potencial de peligro ⇾latas de aerosol y recipientes a presión ⇾cornetas, matracas, silbatos ni demás artículos para hacer ruido ⇾substancias ilegales ⇾globos de helio, rótulos, pancartas, o letreros en palos ⇾sombrillas de golf, tripiés, monopiés, y bastones para “selfies”, comida y bebidas de afuera (incluyendo Starbucks, Dunkin’, y demás marcas de café). Se harán excepciones para artículos médicamente necesarios luego de una inspección apropiada en la entrada. |

LUGAR DE LA GRADUACIÓN La ceremonia se llevará a cabo dentro del Centro de Convocatorias de la Universidad Northern Illinois a las 7:00 PM el miércoles 17 de mayo. El Centro de Convocatorias está ubicado en 1525 W. Lincoln Hwy, DeKalb, IL 60115. Direcciones para llegar pueden ser vistas aquí.

ESTACIONAMIENTO y ENTRADA DE ESTUDIANTES Deben llegar a más tardar a las 4:30 PM para un breve ensayo. Usen las puertas #2 y #4. Las puertas se abrirás a las 6:00 p.m. para los padres y miembros de sus familias. ¡Nuevo! Transporte en autobús solo para graduados disponible de WCCHS que sale a las 3:30 p. m., Entrada B. Se le sirve en orden de llegada. El autobús sale de NIU a las 8:30 p. m. si los graduados necesitan que los lleven de regreso a WCCHS.
ESTACIONAMIENTO Y ASIENTOS PARA PERSONAS DISCAPACITADAS No se necesitan boletos especiales para asientos de personas discapacitadas. |

REDES SOCIALES y FOTOGRAFÍA Para aquellos que no pueden estar presentes, la graduación será transmitida en vivo por medio de este link. El enlace no estará en directo hasta las 7:00 PM el miércoles 17 de mayo.
Los padres o familiares NO tendrán permitido pasar al piso principal para tomar fotos o video.

DIPLOMAS Los estudiantes no reciben sus diplomas el día de la graduación. Sus diplomas son enviados por correo a sus hogares.
