Wego Drama IHSA Showcase March 10 & 11

Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School is presenting a special preview of their IHSA Drama Competition Shows.  There are three different IHSA Drama events presented tonight and tomorrow at 7pm.  You will see a true-crime play, The Incident Room by Olivia Hirst and David Byrne.  Additionally, there is an original student film and the incredibly inventive group interpretation.  It is a very special preview of shows before the competition season starts.

The company of actors and crew for the show includes from Carol Stream: Alex Durkin, Arson Gutierrez,  Sarah Larimer, and William Wenberg; from West Chicago: Mariana Acosta, Stephanie Alfaro, Noemi Amaro, Michael Angeles, Kenya Bahena, Jacob Benitez, Alex Bradley, Lucas Brown, Guadalupe Carreto, Wil Cooper, Pamela Cruz, Danais Gomez-Garcia, Daniel Guevara, Sentia Irakoze, Kayliana Koeune, Matthew Krysinski, Chris Nunez, Edgar Oropeza, Romina Pietanza, Baron Plumlee, Jocelyn Ramirez, Alex Rocha, Vincent Ross, Ryley Salazar, and Dayan Zenteno; and from Winfield: Carolyn Fleming, Elizabeth Hurley, Avery Moffatt, and Mariah Varnado. 

Mark Begovich directs the Wego Drama stage productions with Nicole Stadler. Technical Direction is by Christopher Jensen.  Hair and make-up is by Jaime Elza.  The student film is directed by Ryley Salazar with Alexander Bradley.

Tickets are at the door.  Performances are March 10 & 11 at 7pm.  All performances are at West Chicago Community High School, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago IL 60185.
