New Directors' Showcase Features 3 One-act Plays
Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School starts their 2019-20 season with the plays “Boiling People in my Coffee”, “One Lane Bridge”, and “Greek Mythology Olympiaganza”. These shows are student directed by Nathan Bradley, Justin Blackburn and Christina Champagne. Performances are August 16 and 17, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the school, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago. Tickets are $10 available at the door or in advance at wegotheatre.com.
Student Director Nathan Bradley states, “I am really thankful for this new experience. I have directed a few small things in the past, but this is the first time I have ever directed something this size. This has been a really amazing learning experience.”
Student Director Justin Blackburn comments, “Directing “One Lane Bridge” has been a really fun and interesting experience. Being able to make art in a new way is what stands out to me the most.”
Student Director Christina Champagne states, “This has been one of my favorite experiences in drama so far and I am so grateful for this chance. Seeing things from a new perspective has helped me grow so much. I am so lucky to have such an incredible cast to work with.”

Technical Direction is by Chris Jensen. Performances are Friday and Saturday, August 16 and 17 at 7:00 p.m. at West Chicago Community High School, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago. Tickets are $10 and available at wegotheatre.com and the door.
