Belding Named Head Football Coach

West Chicago Community High School Special Education teacher Tyler Belding has been named Head Football Coach at the school, following the resignation of Jack Rustman.

A 2002 graduate of West Chicago, Belding began his football career playing in the West Chicago Raiders park district program. Once at West Chicago Community High School, Belding played football all four years, as well as four years at Millikin University as a wide receiver.

Belding began coaching football at West Chicago in 2006 under Head Coach Bob Stone, his former football coach. With 13 years of coaching experience at the school, he looks forward to the season as the program’s head coach.

“I am excited for the opportunity to serve the kids at West Chicago in this new capacity,” said Belding. “We will work tirelessly to build a program that continues to make the community proud.”
