Wego Drama Presents: Love/Sick

Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School continues their 2018-19 season with the play “Love/Sick” by John Cariani, to be performed at 7:00 p.m. on Sept. 6, 7 and 8 in Weyrauch Auditorium at the school, 326 Joliet Street, West Chicago. Tickets are available at wegotheatre.com or at the door.

This show is a companion play to the hit “Almost, Maine”. Taking place at the same time on a Friday night, the story involves the development of a relationship. From the initial meeting, through romance and marriage, and the struggles of real relationships “Love/Sick” is an exploration of the human responses to love.

Wego Drama President Neve Ryan states, “This play is a wonderful experience to start our mainstage season. It is truly following the highs and lows of a relationship!”

Nathan Bradley adds, “It is the play that has you laughing, thinking, and feeling empathy all at once. It really is a ‘Dramedy’”.

Rudy Muñoz concludes, “’Love/Sick’ is the play that we can all find something to relate to. The most human emotion is to love and sometimes it has us sick with heartbreak. It really is an incredible evening of theatre.”
