Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School continues their 2016-17 season with the wonderfully comedic musical “The Addams Family” to be performed May 4-6, 2017. The story is based on the cartoons of Charles Addams and the 1960’s television series. The award-winning show is a laugh-riot that will make everyone smile with the macabre humor.
Wednesday Addams is all grown up and has fallen in love with a sweet and smart young man from a respectable family. However her parents haven't met him. And to make matters worse, Wednesday tells her father but begs him not to tell her mother. Now Gomez Addams has to keep a secret from his wife Morticia. Everything will change on the night the Addams family hosts a dinner for Wednesday's new boyfriend and his parents.
Performances are May 4, 5, and 6 at 7:00 p.m. at West Chicago Community High School, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago. Musical tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults. Tickets are available on-line at www.wegotheatre.com or at the door.
