Visitor Guidelines and Procedures

During the school day, West Chicago Community High School District 94 aims to provide an environment free of disruptions for our students and staff. Visitors should be limited to those directly related to student wellbeing and parent/guardian involvement in their students education

During the school day, visitors are subject to the following procedures:

  • Accessible only via Door 1 (Main Entrance)
  • Visitors must press the call button outside Door 1, state their purpose for visiting and wait to be allowed to enter the building. 
  • All visitors must provide valid identification and check in with security personnel on duty
  • All visitors must be scanned in to the Raptor Visitor Management System, which will run an instant background check.
  • Visitors with any histories that appear on the check will be denied access to the building
  • Visitors are to stay in the vestibule unless escorted via security or administration 
  • All areas of campus are gun-free, tobacco, alcohol and drug free zones. 

 

After-Hours Visitors 

West Chicago Community High School District 94 building and grounds are routinely in use after school hours for a variety of both school and community sponsored events. All users of our facilities are subject to applicable procedures as dictated by D94 usage agreements. 

  • After-hours visitors must remain in areas of the building specified for use
  • Access to other parts of the building is not allowed
  • All after-hours visitors much follow any and all instructions given by school district personnel on hand to supervise events. 
  • Visitors agree to the understanding that D94 building and grounds are equipped with video surveillance systems in use at all times
  • Visitors agree to the understanding that D94 building and grounds may be actively monitored by District personnel and/or Law Enforcement agencies
