Mrs. Brown

Mrs. Brown is working as the EL Resource Teacher Leader this year, 

supporting the department's staff and students in an administrative role. Additionally, she teaches Spanish for Native Speakers 1 and is the head badminton coach. She has worked at WeGo for 7 years and has taught ESL, English, Spanish, and Spanish for Native Speakers. She received her bachelor's degree from Wheaton College with a double major in Spanish and Secondary Education and endorsements in ESL and Bilingual Education. While at Wheaton, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Sevilla, Spain and spent two summers hiking El Camino de Santiago. She obtained her master's degree in Culturas y lenguajes españolas through La Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. She is passionate about engaging with cultures and languages and excited to support language learners through her new role.
