Degrees and Certifications:
Alejandra graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching of Spanish, a minor in Latin American Studies, and an endorsement in English as a Second Language in 2017. This is her first year at West Chicago Community High School. She is currently teaching Spanish for Native Speakers 1 and Spanish 1. Alejandra is from Lima, Peru, has traveled to Barcelona, Spain, and aspires to explore all of Latin America. She is passionate about teaching and engaging students in the historical and cultural studies of the Spanish-speaking world.
