Years teaching: 10.5 years

Why you became a teacher: One of the reasons that I became a teacher is that I believe in the power of education to create positive change. Another is that I find it to be a great way to combine two things that I really enjoy - creating art and working with kids.

Schools attended and degrees earned: Wheaton College – BA in Art Studio; Northern Illinois University – MS Ed, with a specialization in Art Education
