Sexual Harassment

SEXUAL HARASSMENT: No student shall be subject to sexual harassment or intimidation by any employee, by other students, by visitors, by contractors, and/or by the effect of any school policy or practice. As used in this policy, sexual harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favors (quid pro quo) or unwelcome conduct, determined by a reasonable person to be so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person's equal access to the recipient's education program or activity (hostile environment). Students should report acts of sexual harassment or intimidation to their counselor or to any other employee of the school they may feel comfortable talking to.
