Students and staff must follow all signage and directions when utilizing the bathrooms and hallways. Six feet of distance must be maintained at all times. Students will be encouraged to only use the bathrooms during passing periods to allow for a fully sanitizing of the bathrooms during class periods. Staff will monitor bathrooms to ensure a proper number of students enter the area at any given time. Bathrooms will be sanitized after each passing period every day.
Students must also maintain 6 feet of distance in the hallways at all times.
Cleaning & Disinfecting
Classrooms and high touch areas throughout the building will be sanitized each night by custodial crews. Additionally, all bathrooms will be sanitized during the class periods to ensure disinfected bathrooms during the passing periods.
Communication & Notification
If any student or staff member tests positive for COVID, we will individually notify anyone who has had close contact (within 6 feet and for 15 cumulative minutes or more) with the person who tested positive. School personnel, students and families will be notified by means of a “low incidence” letter that a positive case was identified at the school and that there is a low possibility of contagion.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All students must wear a cloth mask at all times on campus. If you do not have a mask with you a disposable mask will be provided upon arrival. Additionally, each room has been outfitted with hand sanitizer pumps. Students must sanitize their hands upon arrival and departure from each room.
Students and staff must all maintain 6 feet of distance at all times. Social distance is a key factor for WeGo to sustain in person learning. If any students or staff are not able to stay at least 6 feet apart they risk having to quarantine for 2 weeks if they are in close contact (less than 6 feet for 15 minutes or more) with any individual who is positive or suspected positive for COVID-19.
Visitors to the school will be very restricted. Visitors will only be allowed by invitation or appointments that must be conducted in person. To the greatest extent possible all visitors are asked to communicate electronically to minimize in person contact.
