Scholastic Bowl is an academic competition between
teams on both varsity (normally junior and senior) and junior
varsity (normally freshmen and sophomore) levels from different
schools. Although all members will have a chance to compete
during meets, only five members of each team are allowed to
answer questions at a given time. The questions range from math,
science, literature, history, and geography to "recent"
events, religion, and technology. Both varsity and junior varsity
participate in a tournament at the end of the season, and varsity
also competes in regionals.
