Science Department

The goal of the science department is to develop scientifically literate students for the active participation in a science oriented democracy.

The science course offerings are designed to provide an opportunity for all students to become scientifically literate in the biological and physical sciences, address the needs and interests of all students, develop skills that are essential for acquiring processing and utilizing information in the context of thinking critically, making decisions, and forming judgements.
