Student Newspaper Keeps Raking in Awards
Before the Wildcat Chronicle staff could finish celebrating their recent national awards, they received word that they had won three additional awards from the Northern Illinois School Press Association. The Chronicle was awarded a Silver Certificate for their overall rating. Brandi Ruiz won a Blue Ribbon for Outstanding Contribution in Graphics, and News Editor Sam West received an Honorable Mention for News Writing.
"We may just keep celebrating through the end of the school year," said faculty adviser Laura Kuehn. "This has been an outstanding year. We're very proud of our exceptional staff and of the high quality they consistently attain with the newspaper."
