Community High School in West Chicago will present its winter play, "Daisy Pulls it Off," at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 10 through Saturday, February 12 in the Weyrauch Auditorium. The play, written by Denise Deegan, is set during the 1920s in England. The story is about a girl who receives a scholarship to attend an elite all girls school. When she arrives, she is met with a lot of disapproving girls. Two of them, Monica (played by Kim Wanous) and Sybil (played by Rachelle Henning), go to such lengths as to try to get her expelled from the school. However, Daisy (played by Jazmine Martinez) comes out on top in the end. The cast consists of 25 girls and 2 boys. The play is directed by Charles A. Berglund and William Vega. Tickets are $2 for students and $3 for adults, with general admission seating. Community High School is located at 326 Joliet Street in West Chicago.
