Anna Lane Named February 2009

Student-of-the-Month

The faculty and administration of Community High Scho= ol would like to congratulate Anna Lane for being chosen Student of the Month for February.

 

One of her teachers states that “Anna is always committed to managing her many responsibilities; she is an independent thin= ker and a natural leader.” Another teacher describes Anna as “creat= ive, responsible, and dependable” and continues to state that Anna “always has a smile on her face and is willing to try to cheer up others.”

 

Anna volunteers in the Sunday Scho= ol program at her church by helping to teach 2- and 3-year olds.  In the summer, she works for a wet= lands preservation company.  She bel= ieves in striving to do her best without compromising her morals.

 

A four-year member of the softball team, Anna is also a member of the National Honor Society and the German Honor Society.  She has competed on the Math Team = for the past four years and serves as the co-captain of the Scholastic Bowl Team. 

 

Anna hopes to pursue a career as a medical examiner.  Her favorite high school memory is= of dissecting a cat in Human Anatomy class.&n= bsp; She hopes to attend John = Brown University in Siloam Springs, = Arkansas to major in Biology with a pr= e-med emphasis and then to continue on to medical school.

 

The administration, faculty, and staff at Community High Scho= ol congratulate Anna on all of her accomplishments and wish her the best of lu= ck in her future endeavors.
