Jonathan Brandt, a senior at Community High School in West Chicago, has had photographs selected for exhibition in the Sixth Annual Juried Photography Exhibition and Scholarship Competition at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Only 41 photographs were selected from the 148 entries they received. The exhibit will be on display from April 7 through April 30 in the SIU Cinema and Photography Department Gallery. Brandt will also be eligible for the scholarship competition.

Jonathan is a student of Christopher Bardey. "Jonathan’s work has been prominently featured in displays of computer art photography," said Bardey. "His work is incredibly inventive, and he has a good eye for detail," he added. Brandt plans on entering a design field. He is the son of Linda and Daniel Brandt of West Chicago.
