Peac= eBuilder of = the Month

Alejandro Garcia of <= st1:place w:st=3D"on">West Chicago, a junior at Community High School Dis= trict 94, has been awarded the November PeaceBuilder of the Month.  John Chisholm, Social Studies teac= her and the originator of the PeaceBuilder recognit= ion, states that “Alejandro is being recognized for his ability to help others, and for his pleasant attitude and politeness.  He is a hard worker and he maximiz= es his potential with a determined effort.”

 

Alejandro states that “Both my mom and dad have been my model for peace.  They have always helped us get alo= ng as a family.”  He believes = that people have to get along with one another and not pick fights.  His wish for the world is that the= war would end and that there was no violence of any kind.

 

For the past three ye= ars Alejandro has played on the defensive line of the Wildcat Football team.  After graduation he plans to study= auto mechanics.
