Tristi Brown-Stacker Named

PeaceBuilder of the Month for Febr= uary

&nbs= p; Tristi Brown-Stacker is currently a Junior at Community High School. Tristi received the PeaceBuilder A= ward for assisting others, her great attitude towards school, and for her abilit= y to take on leadership roles. Tristi’s various teachers have all noted her desire to help others. She is to be recogniz= ed and commended for her work here and her desire to improve the atmosphere at We-Go.

&nbs= p; Tristi credits her mother for instilling in her a sol= id work ethic and commitment towards helping others. For Tristi peace means being nice = and showing kindness towards everyone, not just those we call our friends. As she stated, “Peace feels nice. I see that people are k= ind and they like to give to one another and it makes me want to do the same.” Tristi’s inspiring message should be listened to by all.

&nbs= p; Tristi seems to answer the calling to sacrifice her t= ime and energy to bring peace and happiness into the lives of others. She routinely volunteers at Currier School and also works part-time at= a local grocery store. Aside fr= om actively participating in community service, Tristi has also managed to sco= re well in school. She plans on = attending college in Atlanta upon graduation.
