Kiddie Cheerleading Clinic at Community High School

If you have a child who wants to become a cheerleader, bring them to the West Chicago Wildcat Kiddie Clinic from 8 a.m. till noon on Saturday, January 11, 2002. The clinic will be held at Community High School District 94, 326 Joliet Street in West Chicago. Enter at entrance C on the west side of the building. The clinic is for preschoolers through freshmen and is hosted by Community High School's cheerleading squads.

After completing the clinic, the young cheerleaders will perform a cheer at half time for the varsity basketball game at 7 p.m. that evening when Community High School Wildcats will take on Naperville Central. Admission to the game will be free for the kids and their parents.

The $20 fee includes instruction, tee shirt and snacks. Please RSVP to 876-6454 by January 4. Please include your child's name and tee shirt size. This event grows in popularity each year; last year's drew over 100 kids. "The girls have a ton of fun," said sponsor Candace Kairys. "They can see what life is like as a high school cheerleader. We hope that a lot of them will become Wildcat cheerleaders some day."
