It's time again for the annual performance by Community High School's Dance Production group. This year they will present "Dance Fever" at 7:30 p.m. on both Thursday, January 22 and Saturday, January 24.

This talented group of 30 young women has been working hard on the production since the beginning of the school year, both in classes and during evening practices. They've even met during winter break. "Dance Fever" will feature a wide variety of dances, from a sassy interpretation of "Hey, Big Spender" from the musical Chicago, performed on pointe, to a stomp-style routine using everything from basketballs to chairs.

Both performances will be held in Community High School's Weyrauch Auditorium at 326 Joliet Street in West Chicago. Tickets will be sold at the door; prices are $3 for adults, and $2 for students with an I.D. card. Children younger than age five and senior citizens will be admitted free. Helen Zmrhal is the dance instructor.
