Health Education


Welcome to West Chicago Health Education. The State of Illinois requires all students to complete a course of study in Health Education. This course is normally taken during the freshman year. Topics studied include human ecology and health, human growth and development, stress-management, family life, disease prevention, consumer health, substance abuse, sexually transmitted disease, sexual harassment, first aid, CPR, and a variety of other topics.
