Employees who work as Program Assistants must have a Paraprofessional Letter of Approval through the Illinois State Board of Education on file with the district. In addition, it is highly recommended that those working in Personal Care Assistant Roles have the Letter on file, as well. Please see the links below to the ISBE requirements to attain the Letter as well as the form to request the Letter itself.
